The shirt reads: “SOFT HEART, SHARP LINER.”
The lettering is glossy hot pink script with a blue-ribboned heart to one side and a black eyeliner pen drawing a wing across the corner.
Two things held at once, and the design refuses to treat them as a contradiction. It is the fourth in the beauty-counter run alongside the mascara, blusher and waterproof shirts, and the most quietly defiant of them.
For anyone whose kindness has been mistaken for softness, and who has a very steady hand at the mirror.
