The shirt reads: “SAVE THE SCRATCHES,” with “LET OLD WOOD LOOK OLD” on the banner beneath.
Between them, a worn wooden cornhole board sits on its legs, the surface marked with rings, scuffs and years of use.
It is a preservation campaign for wear. Sanding a board back removes the record of every game played on it, and the shirt is firmly against that.
For cornhole players, for woodworkers who leave a patina alone, and for anyone who thinks a thing should look its age.
