A shark, drawn entirely in bold black tribal line work in the Māori style — interlocking curves, hooked spurs and negative space forming the gills, fins and teeth.
There is no text anywhere on the shirt. The design is a single continuous piece of artwork sized like a back-piece tattoo and set on the chest.
It is one of the few designs in the catalogue with no joke in it at all. For divers, surfers, anyone with an interest in Pacific art, and anyone who would rather a shirt looked like a tattoo than said something. Reads best on the lighter colours, where the line work keeps its edges.
