The shirt reads: “THE DOORGEOISIE” — and underneath, “REFRIGERATED HIGH SOCIETY.”
The emblem beneath it is a fridge door shelf, drawn like a gilded opera box with a small curtained pediment, eggs seated in their moulded cups.
Eggs stored in the door: a practice with defenders, detractors and, apparently, a class of its own. The design gives them a coat of arms. For the kitchen argument that never resolves, and for anyone who has strong views about where the butter goes as well.
