A raccoon’s face fills the upper half of the design, painted in fine airbrushed detail against a full moon and a dark pine forest, with a second raccoon walking a rocky ridge beneath it.
It is rendered in cold blues and white, with stars scattered through the trees. There is no text anywhere on the shirt.
The composition is lifted directly from the wolf-and-moon paintings that filled mall shirts for a decade, with the wolf replaced by an animal that raids bins. Nothing about the treatment acknowledges the substitution.
For the raccoon constituency, who by this point have more designs in this catalogue than any other animal, and for anyone who remembers the originals.
